4 tips on finding the right tutor


Does your child need a tutor? Do you need a little help with finding the right one for your child?
Here are five tips to help you find the perfect tutor for your child.

1.)    Know where to start-
You need to know the basics of exactly what you are looking for. Sit down and make a list – Is there a certain subject you need help with? Math, Science, reading etc. Will you need the tutors in a certain area (Ex: Seattle, Washington).  Will you need a home tutor, virtual tutor, part time or every day?

2.)    Price ranges-
Everyone’s wallets could use a little slack every now and then. Know the prices before you agree to anything.  You may even be able to find discounts.
3.)    Browse the internet-
 if you Google “Tutors” there will be, dozens wait millions of sites that will come up. To help you find the right one for your needs try adding in the Subject that you need. Ex: Math + Tutors; this will then bring up math tutors only. Now if you are looking for a specific area for tutors search Ex: Math +Tutors + Seattle, Washington; This will then bring up the results for math tutors in Seattle, Washington.

4.)    Find the right tutor for you-
Some companies out there do not let you really have a choice in the selection of your tutor.  However, some websites like Tutorspree do. Simply type in your location and all available tutors will come up. You have the option to select the subject that you need or just search all available; about TutorSpree.
