Rachael goes to visit her friends the Treeschoolers in hopes of playing outside with them. However, it quickly begins to rain. Along with the rain it starts to thunder and lightning as well. So Rachael & the Treeschoolers are forced to stay inside; to make it fun Rachael teaches them about the weather.
Abicus, quickly becomes afraid when a large thunder rolls in. After learning the signs for rain, clouds and the different types of weather Rachael also teaches her friends how the weather can affect everyday life. For example we wouldnt wear swimsuits when its snowing outside.
The clouds do play a big part in storms and everyday weather , after going over how they are made and why the rain forms Abicus is still afraid of the thunder. When Rachael tells us how lightning and thunder is made Abicus begins to feel better and realizes how thunder is just a sound and there is no need to be afraid. As Rachael suggested I'm sharing with a friend. This educational DVD about weather is great and would be great for pre-schoolers and home-schoolers.
I highly recommend this product along with their others for great educational purposes.
