the Fugue String Quartet’s perform their 25th Anniversary

provide us with a powerful story that blends raw emotion with fiery passion to
form an unforgettable cinematic masterpiece. After 25 years together, the
members of a world-renowned string quartet learn that their beloved cellist
(Walken) may soon be forced to retire. But the news stirs up equally painful
challenges when competing egos, harbored resentment, and irrepressible lust
threaten to derail the group as they struggle to maintain harmony in their
music — and their lives.
The Radio City Music Hall
The Radio City Music Hall is a 6,200
seat art deco theatre whichis a venue for holiday events, TV specials and music
concerts. The theatre was recently renovated in order to preserve its beautiful
architecture and décor while adding the most modern sound and stage lighting
technology in the country. One of the best music venues in New York City, it
offers virtual and real tours and is considered an American landmark.
TheWalt Disney Concert
Hall
The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los
Angeles was designed by Frank Gehry to be one of the most acoustically perfect
concert Halls in the world. Building started in 1987 and took 16 years to
complete. It hosted the premiere for The
Matrix Revolutions as well as providing the setting for the finale in the 2008
Steve Carrell film, Get Smart and is
home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
The Boston Symphony Hall
The Boston Symphony Hall is considered
to be the finest built concert hall in the world. It was the first concert hall
built on scientifically derived acoustical engineering and is home to the
Boston Pops. On top of the incredible music classical performances performed on
the stage each week, every year during the holidays, conductor Keith Lockhart
and the Boston Pops perform songs of the season to get you into the holiday
spirit.
The Fillmore
The Fillmore in San Francisco is a 1,250
seat historical building which was the mecca for psychedelic rock. Step into
the building is to step back in time with its purple chandelier and concert
posters that lined the walls.Groups such as Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead and
the Doors have performed on The Fillmore’s infamous stage.
The Wachovia Center
The Wachovia Center in Philadelphia is
noted for some of the best acoustics of any venue in the USA. The music venue
has a 20,000 seat capacity and is also known for hosting sold out shows of
famous renowned artists including Springsteen. On August 12, 1996, a private concert by Ray
Charles was the first event at the Center, with a crowd of nearly 12,000
people.
Carnegie Hall
Carnegie Hall was designed by architect
William Burnet Tuthill and built by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1891. It
is one of the most prestigious venues in the world for both classical and
popular music andpresents approximately 250 performances of classical, rock,
blues and country music each season.
