Today is a very famous man’s birthday. A man who had a dream
and thanks to this dreams our lives are better these days.
Martin Luther King Jr. was born Jan 15, 1929 in Atlanta
Georgia. Best known for his role in the civil rights advancement, he also led
the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott & helped to organize the 1963 March on
Washington. It was here that Martin delivered his “I have a dream” speech.
Sadly king was assassinated on April 4, 1968 in Memphis Tennessee. In honor of
all the things this man achieved and his life, we celebrate his birthday today!
