Tea Time with Benny – The Teddy bear =)

A few nights ago my teddy bear “Benny” and I sat down and enjoyed a very nice tea party. The conversation was very interesting but the snacks and tea were definitely the best. While we were eating our Nature’s Bakery figs we talked about the horrible experience he had while waiting on the shelves at the store. “Daddy, sure did take awhile to choose me” I remembered him telling me; my husband had chose Benny for my Valentine’s Day present back in 2011. 

 For our tea party we had a great spread of Fig Newton bars that included flavors like whole wheat blueberry, whole wheat peach apricot, whole wheat apple cinnamon and whole wheat fig.

“You know mommy, I really enjoy the extra cuddle time that we have now that daddy works nights”, Benny told me with a mouthful of blueberry fig.

“I do too” I replied.

The conversation went on and on until it was time to wash down the figs with our delicious Davidson’s Organics Chai tea.

 Benny rather enjoyed the tea and even asked for seconds. The tea was very warm and soothed my throat, leaving me feeling nice and cozy.  

After the conversation had ended and the table was cleaned Benny and I went to bed and snuggled until we both fell asleep.
